Investing in professional development is critical to build workforce capability to achieve 1-Stop’s strategic directions. 1-Stop provides financial support and leave to assist employees undertaking professional development within the broader context of 1-Stop’s strategic and operational requirements.

Workforce planning that determines professional development needs are considered in the budget planning process.  Budgets are determined to support the workforce capability needs of the area.

Each area may develop their own professional development processes to meet development plans and strategic directions. The process must be aligned to 1-Stop’s strategic direction and be transparent and accountable with mechanisms for consideration, decision making and feedback.

1-Stop want to create a culture of leadership at all levels that is critical to drive 1-Stop’s growth from a successful Australian business to a global leader in the industry.
